Hi there! I’m Kristin.
I am a birth and postpartum doula + a birth photographer in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. I love Jesus, traveling, coffee, my husband and all things wellness. I think it’s so important to tune into your body and understand what it is telling you. I fully believe and use essential oils and herbs for many things in my life and they played a huge part in my health.
I became a doula to be an advocate for women’s health and wellness in birth. I noticed a need in my friends that were choosing to have home births instead of hospital births. As I begin to process these choices they were making for there families, I learned it was from a place of not being heard, empowered, or feeling safe. I want to support women in their plan for their baby and body in birth. I want to help create a more human like birthing experience by embracing the desires of the birthing mother. You should birth on your own terms. We have to start listening to mothers, after all they know their body and baby. I get to hold space for my clients in those raw moments that they have never experienced before, or in a moment that they have experienced but are remembering again. It’s a journey that will open you up to emotions you have to let loose, fears you have to let go of, and motherhood that you step into possibly for the first time or the seventh time. It’s messy and at times hard but, so beautiful! I will be with you every step of the way!
